In Wisconsin, the most common non-Erisa plan is the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). It is estimated that 27% of Wisconsin residents are participants in the WRS. The WRS only accepts one form to divide the employee’s retirement plan. The WRS form only allows for a percentage division, and an employee is not able to divide the plan using a dollar amount.
