  Medicare and Medicaid Nursing Home Rating System
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services released its new five star rating system called "Nursing Home Compare."  www.medicare.gov/NHCompare/Home.asp

This five star rating system has detailed information about every Medicare and Medicaid certified nursing home in the country.  The CMS believes the new rating system will provide nursing home residents and their families with a tool to ascertain the quality of nursing homes.
