A charge of drunk driving is called an "OWI" in Wisconsin, which stands for Operating While Intoxicated. It's likely the same as a DUI or DWI would be in other states. The allegation is that a person was driving (or operating) a motor vehicle while impaired. If you receive a citation for an OWI, you are also likely to receive a citation for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration. Yes, this is two citations for the same occurrence.
