What is the purpose of a Guardianship in the Wisconsin court system?
Guardianship is a relationship created by a court between an individual (ward) who the court has determined to be "incompetent" and another individual or organization (guardian) who the court authorizes to make personal, medical, and/or financial decisions on behalf of the ward.
