How do you answer your child's question, why are you getting a divorce from Dad?
There are many reasons your Dad and I are getting a divorce. Many of the reasons you will not understand until you are older. There are many things that Dad and I disagree on, and these things are so important that neither one of us is willing to give up what we think and feel. The one thing we do agree on is our love for you. You and I will keep talking about it, and one day when you are older you might be able to understand all of this a little better.
